In an effort to increase impact PCs for People has launched a computer refrubisher affiliate program. Through this program PCs for People shares custom automated refurbishing tools with non-profit refrubishers from across the US. Affiliates leverage the tools to produce high quality refurbished computers and PCsrefurbished.com serves as a common platform for thousands of people to benefit from our collaborative effort.

Since 1998, PCs for People has been a driving force behind digital inclusion efforts in across the US. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission is to provide a technology access that offers employment and educational opportunities to low-income individuals, families with children, and those with disabilities. Our services include free end-of-life IT asset management and certified data sanitization, technology refurbishing, computer distribution, computer repair, internet service, tech education, and free electronic recycling. Through an unwavering commitment to the communities we serve, we have distributed over 60,000 computers, subscribed thousands of families to low cost internet, and recycled millions of pounds of electronics.

At human-I-T, our mission is to shrink the "digital divide" and reduce the massive amount of electronic waste (e-waste) produced everyday. The "digital divide" refers to the growing disparity between those with access to technology and information, and those without. human-I-T works to ensure every person—regardless of income—has an equal opportunity to excel in the digital era. We provide free technology to low-income families, veterans, persons with disabilities, LGBT community centers, homeless shelters, and other certified nonprofits.

Digital Bridge

We are Digital Bridge, and it is our mission to connect under-served groups and individuals with digital resources that they would otherwise not be able to access on their own. To accomplish this mission, we help people and organizations to re-purpose their used technological assets by redistributing them among the local community and to others around the globe. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, we work with partnering nonprofits and non-governmental organizations throughout the world to provide affordable technology to low-income households, set up computer labs for the communities that need them, and to help our partners who are already doing good work to further their missions and create a lasting legacy, all using refurbished technology.
